If you have been following our blog over the last year you will know all about the woes we have had regarding our former domain electnewmedia.com. In a 12 month period, we have had two negative SEO attacks and our website was hacked once. Not the best year to be completely honest.
ENM, our former site, has now come to the end of its usable life. As the domain became permanently weakened by the two negative SEO attacks it is clear that something needed to change. We decided after many attempts in the last year to fix the problems caused that it is best to draw a line under that brand.
In its wake, we have rebranded to Pecking Order Digital. The name partly comes from an episode of the 2014 series of The Apprentice. Lord Sugar used the words, and a paraphrase, it’s like getting your site up the pecking order on Google.
The colloquial term, pecking order, describes how chickens react during feeding times. The more dominant get the first dibs on the feed.
This makes a lot of sense of what we do online. We help startups, small and medium businesses to grow, and with that we out-compete our client’s competition.
With this, we would like to welcome you to Pecking Order Digital, douglashunt.co.uk, the new face of digital services in the UK.
We will continue to strive to make our clients the most competitive online and in doing so giving their customers real choice.
